SPEAKER_01

Pinky's up. What time is it?

SPEAKER_00

It's time to spill. Okay, sippers, grab your teacups because it's time to spill. I'm Mallory.

SPEAKER_01

And I'm Kristen, and we are back with a Q and A. We're gonna give you A's to all your Q's, baby.

SPEAKER_00

One sec, my neck is breaking.

SPEAKER_01

Looking like a little giraffe over there with your cute little pink bucket hat. There we go. Okay, so let's start off the episode with what we're sipping. So, what we're sipping is anything we've been loving lately. Mal, what you got? Okay.

SPEAKER_00

We just finished a show on Netflix called I Will Find You. Okay, never heard of it. It was so freaking good. I haven't had a show that's like drawn me in, like I need to know what happens, like this show just did in a long time. Right, right, right. One season. It's like a limited series. You know how they do those limited series? Yes. It's by Harlan Coben or something like that. He has a few different shows on Netflix. Okay. And they're like all thriller, whatever, on the edge of your series. No, it's like thriller. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So I can do it by myself? Yes.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. No, it was so good. It was so good.

SPEAKER_01

I will find you. Okay. I've never even heard of it. Never seen it, never heard of it.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. I can't give, I can't say too much because I feel like it'll ruin it. But it's about kidnapping.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, okay. So that sounds gonna have to watch it.

SPEAKER_00

So that and also my New York City mahjong set.

SPEAKER_01

Oh my gosh, you guys. It's so cute.

SPEAKER_00

It is so freaking cute, hella expensive. I don't care. I have never needed something more in my life.

SPEAKER_01

I've never needed you to own something more.

SPEAKER_00

And I'll have it forever. I will have it forever. Like this is going to be your house is on fire. What are you grabbing? It's my New York City mahjong set.

SPEAKER_01

Think of that heirloom, like your granddaughter gets set one day.

SPEAKER_00

My granddaughters will fight over my mahjong set.

SPEAKER_01

Oh my gosh. Okay, so that's the new gold standard of like what I'm looking for in a mahjong set. Yes. It's one that people are gonna be fighting over.

SPEAKER_00

Right.

SPEAKER_01

Which leads me to believe I don't think I've found the one yet.

SPEAKER_00

I know. Well, it's hard because I feel like either they're $450, $500 from Oh My Mahjong, but like that's accessible to anybody. Or there's like the Amazon sets, or the, you know, I don't know. We'll find it. We'll find it.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, we gotta keep keep an eye out.

SPEAKER_00

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

Well, I did find one that I really like.

SPEAKER_00

Or I could show you the one from the other wholeseller, from the wholeseller, and show you the other ones they have, and then you can find three other things.

SPEAKER_01

I thought they only had the New York one.

SPEAKER_00

No, they have a few other ones. Oh, show me. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Show me, show me, show me. Give it to me, Rachel.

SPEAKER_00

You can find three other people to go in on it with you.

SPEAKER_01

Oh my gosh.

SPEAKER_00

No, but honestly, I am obsessed.

SPEAKER_01

We're just mahjongers.

SPEAKER_00

We're playing mahjong tonight, actually. I'm so excited. But the tile, the back of it is a taxi. Well, that's on the back of all of them. Yes. I thought that was like the jokers. The blue and the taxis. And then like the northeast southwest is like street signs. The bird is a pigeon. Like, oh my gosh. Okay. Here is I think the f I think they're all at the top. I think it organized them. Let me see. Oh, the problem is I'm gonna have a I think there's just like five of them.

SPEAKER_01

Shopping high right now.

SPEAKER_00

I know.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, there's martini glasses on it. But that is a really cute box.

SPEAKER_00

Is that the tortoise one?

SPEAKER_01

Yes. Damn it.

SPEAKER_00

Martini glasses are cute.

SPEAKER_01

Not that you drink or anything, but so I don't really care. Wait, yeah, their stuff is freaking cute. Oh, look at these clips. Mahjong claw clips. Stop. Okay, we're not that into mahjong, please. With the brush. But they're way cute designs. A brooch. Oh, I need this for my bag. Yes, you do. You only have to buy one. Beautiful. Have you already ordered? Yeah, I did. Oh my gosh, the phone wristlet. Wow, I didn't know there was so much mahjong merch. This is okay, wait, sorry. I'm getting distracted. I'm getting distracted. Back to the top. Okay, I'm kind of over Bose, but that's a cute set. Oh, it's a ballet set.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, cute. Did you not used to do point?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I was gonna say, didn't you do ballet? Like maybe I did need that one. That one's cute. Yeah. Anywho. Wait, did you see the lotus flower one?

SPEAKER_01

I didn't see the what the tiles look like. I was just looking at the cases. Oh. They're like green, lotus flowery.

SPEAKER_00

And then it's like baby pink. Those are cute.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. Okay, okay, okay.

SPEAKER_00

Because they're cute.

SPEAKER_01

The challenges you have to buy three people to buy them.

SPEAKER_00

That's so true.

SPEAKER_01

The koi pond one. Anyway. We're just mahjong girlies. And so if you find a freaking cute set, please send it my way because I am looking for mine. Yes. I am sipping. She's back for the summer, baby, and it's my favorite drink ever. Literally, when they don't have it, I have to custom make it. It is the Mystic Mango from Swig. So good. Taste it. Oh my gosh, it's so yummy. I've had it. It's so good. Frozen dragon fruit, fresh lemon, all sugar-free, sparkling water. Yum man. It is such a such a gift for the summer. But speaking of drinks, we went to our very favorite, as you guys know. We went to Thirst last night. They are finally opening closer to us. They got one in Farmington, and Mia Mal went last night, and she tried her very first pretzel dog. It was so fire, actually. No, they're so good. I get one every time I go. And we also got the beignets. I will never recover. They're so delicious. They are so divine. And then we got two of their new summer drinks. I did the skinny strawberry lemonade and Mallory got the ocean potion. Yep. Both? No notes. Both were so good. So that was a fun little event. And the best news is they're opening one in Ogden, guys. So.

SPEAKER_00

What time is their grand opening tomorrow in Farmington?

SPEAKER_01

Oh, I need to edit my TikTok.

SPEAKER_00

I forgot I was gonna post it, so I'm worried.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I need to get on that. It's tomorrow? Yeah. No, tomorrow's Friday. It's Saturday. Saturday, Saturday. Okay, I still have a day. He scared me. We're great influencers over here, you guys. We're trying. We're trying. But I'm so excited. Thirst has finally waited its May. But wait its May. Wait its May. It's finally made its way up north after 10 years. Which my pleas and my cyberbullying.

SPEAKER_00

They might come to the garden party. Did they email us back? No, but we're in we're in talk. No, they did. They just said how many people and what's the oh wait. You didn't see that?

SPEAKER_01

No. Yes. I thought we got ghosted. I'm like, not you guys.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, they asked for a headcount. Oh, duh. And I emailed back, but she hasn't responded, so. Okay, okay, okay.

SPEAKER_01

Well, let's talk about the garden party while we're at it. Okay. Love. August 29th, 7 p.m. It's Saturday. It is girls' night, ladies and ladies.

SPEAKER_00

I don't think you got you guys. Denise Kristen's mom just called us right before this and was just like spitting out ideas for this party. We are gonna decorate. Of how we're gonna decorate, and we are so excited.

SPEAKER_01

It is a backyard garden party. It will be in South Ogden. It is 7 p.m. Perfect time. August 29th is actually my anniversary. Actually, I lied. August 28th was the anniversary. That's when we got married, but August 29th was my reception. Yeah. And you know, 10 years ago when I we got married on that day, actually 11 years ago, it was perfect weather. So I'm envisioning that same vibe. Like not too hot, not too cold. No, no, no, no. And that's where the garden party is gonna be, is exactly where my like pizza party was right after the wedding. Yeah. So it'll be perfect. Perfection. It's gonna be decorated so cute. Think like aesthetic vibes. The girlies need to wear like little florally, springy tea party garden party dresses. Outfits, whatever you see. Maybe a fun tea party hat. Ooh, that's cute. Some little gloves. Now's the time to bring them out. Yes.

SPEAKER_00

You know, we love a theme. We love a theme, and when there's a theme, we stick to the theme.

SPEAKER_01

Fun girly dressy up vibes. We're everybody is getting their own personal gourmet pizza, fire grilled, on site. Yes. It's gonna be so good. And then we have Five Gals Lemonade coming.

SPEAKER_00

Kraft lemonades that are so good.

SPEAKER_01

You literally watch them crush the lemons right in front of you. Yes. And then add all the little, depending on which flavor you choose, all the little fruits and oh my gosh, they're so yummy. And then we will have macarons.

SPEAKER_00

Yes, one of our lovely sippers offered to contribute some macarons.

SPEAKER_01

I know I'm so excited about those.

SPEAKER_00

Which could not be more garden party. We're so excited.

SPEAKER_01

I know, they're gonna be so cute. And then we will also have, we will have more desserts, just TB, TBA to be announced. Yes. We're working on a few collabs. So it's gonna be really fun. My thing, my favorite part about it is it's gonna be a little bit more intimate. So we can like actually, we've done so many events with you guys, and they've been so fun. Like the sound bath, the super cinema, but like we can't actually hang out with you. Yeah. When we're all laying on the floor in a sound bath or we're sleeping in a movie theater. We're just like, hi, we love you, thanks for coming, and like that's all we can hang out with you. This will literally be like, we're all at one table, eating dinner, getting to know each other, getting to know each other, and tell them what our activity is. Almost so exciting. Okay, so the I'm talking about the teapot.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah, yeah. So you'll walk in to the location, and there will be the cutest setup you've ever seen, might I add? And there will be a teapot. And next to the teapot will be a piece of paper and a pen. And we are going to write confessions anonymously, and then something else. Yes, you gotta think, get thinking about a confession, and then we're gonna all go around and pull a story out of the teapot and each read a confession.

SPEAKER_01

So you're gonna know that it's like somebody there, but nobody will know who it actually is, unless you want to add more to your story.

SPEAKER_00

But yeah, I'm so excited. I know it's gonna be like just the best girls' night. Yeah, live time to spill, hang out.

SPEAKER_01

So if you wanna come, the tickets are now open. All you gotta do is Venmo, Mallory.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, out Malmacefield. $49. $49. And we're doing you missed, you missed, you missed.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, and we have another activity.

SPEAKER_00

We're gonna be making floral be oh my gosh, can't even talk. Floral bouquets, which Kristen and I are thrifting cutie little vases right now for you guys to take home as well.

SPEAKER_01

So you'll go home with a little bouquet of your own, full dinner, girls' night. Yeah. You guys, it's gonna be so fun. Please come.

SPEAKER_00

I actually I told Kristen I have been dying to have like a backyard garden party, sunset. There's strong lines.

SPEAKER_01

Finally starting the podcast, you said we need to have a garden party.

SPEAKER_00

No, literally. And I hope that this becomes like an annual thing, the end of every summer.

SPEAKER_01

Well, if the zippers will show up and show out, we can definitely keep doing it. I know. I'm so excited. Yes. So grab your besties or come alone. We already have people that are coming by themselves. Like, don't be, don't be shy. It's gonna be like a very curated, easy way to make friends. Like not intimidating. Yeah. It's just gonna feel like a fun girl's night with your besties. So can't wait for that. And yeah, so today we're gonna oh, we have to confess.

SPEAKER_00

We have some confessions.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. Do you want to go first?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I'll go if you need a minute to think. No, I got mine, but you can go. Oh, okay. I'll just kind of like work backwards because I feel like I had a few written down, but as we recorded, like when we recorded the Patreon, I confessed something different, you know. So I really have I even talked about Disneyland? No. Okay, we went to Disneyland over the 4th of July. So fun. We rode Soren Over America because they changed it. Oh, they did? They changed it to Soren Over America for America 250. We rode Soren Over America with Mariah Carey. We were standing in line and all of a sudden she walks past us, but she was walking like a mother freaking zombie, like sunglasses on, robotic arms, just like walking straightest face you've ever seen. Yeah, anyway, rode that with her. And then also right after that, we go and get on Incredicoaster, and I'm like looking across the way. And who is it other than Miss Courtney Kardashian herself and Penelope were standing directly across from us? It was crazy. And I took a picture of her and she saw me. Sorry. She's probably she like looks right at you. No, literally, she's probably used to it. Right.

SPEAKER_01

It's fine.

SPEAKER_00

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

It's fine. I saw people or some article, I don't know where it was, but that they were there at Disneyland for Penelope's 14th birthday.

SPEAKER_00

Stop. Okay. I did not know that. I did not know that.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, you can go and then I have another one. Okay, but also you need to confess when you saw Mariah Carey, you said you saw Shakira.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. I don't know why in my head I could Shakira. But then I knew it was Nick Cannon's kids, but for some reason it wasn't registering that it was Mariah Carey. Like I thought I was saying Mariah Carey, but anyway. Shakira came out. But you know when you're just like starstruck and you're like, anyway, Dallin was like, that is not Shakira, or that is not Mariah Carey. And I'm like, yes, those were Nick Cannon's kids. And he's like, that is not Shakira, that is Mariah Carey. Anyway.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, that is so funny. Okay, my confession is I talked about muscle testing and how it reversed my IBS. Yes. And I've also, I don't know if I well, okay. Like, how much do I say? I kinda very, very, very early stages, but I'm kind of started dating someone a little bit. And so my confession is my dad caught wind of both of these items that I have a good dating story now. Yeah. And that my IBS has been cured. And he was like, oh, this is not gonna be good for the podcast. This is not gonna be good for the mod. I'm like, no, we'll be fine. Our our sippers will confess all of their juicy confessions. They've got bad dating stories. I can dig in the archives. I'm sure I skipped a few here and there. So now that I'm saying this out loud, I feel like I already said this on the podcast.

SPEAKER_00

Did I? If I did. I think you maybe said it on Patreon.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

Maybe.

unknown

I don't know.

SPEAKER_00

I know you've said it, but I thought it was on Patreon.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, maybe it was. Dang. So maybe I didn't save a confession. I just let everything out. I teased this a little bit on the stories. I don't think I showed it though, did I? No. I'll have to post the picture, you guys. Okay, so I'm at the gym. Oh, one thing that I'm sipping is I found this new Runzi, the Free People Runzi. Righteous Runzy. Yeah. I found a dupe that is way better than the original Righteous Runzy. If you don't know what the Righteous Runzy is, it is a $98 unitard from Free People. And that has these cute little shorts that have slits on the side and they're open. But underneath, they literally give you like granny panty underwear. Yeah. And I have a bright pink one, like literally neon pink, and the bottoms underneath where my shorts flip up, and you can see are white. They give you white granny panty whitey tidies. And then I have the black one as well. Luckily, the black one has black underneath. Liner. And again, it is a black granny panty style. Okay, so I found an Amazon dupe that is significantly better, significantly cheaper, and a bunch of them were on sale for $20. So I bought every color that was on sale for $20 because I can buy five of them for the price of one. And I like this one better. Anyway, this the one from free, sorry, the one from Amazon has like a biker short underneath, but it's the same length as the little shorts that flip open. That's so nice. So when it flips open, it doesn't look like you're wearing freaking granny panties underneath that are white. Anyway, so I got those. And I was at the gym thinking I'm looking all cute in my little workout set. You guys, this ladder app, I've talked about it, freaking sweating my arse off every time I'm at the gym. It like it really kicks your butt. So I'm thinking I'm looking all cute though in my new little fit. And I look in the mirror, and to my surprise, I thought I was looking like a hot MILF, and I was, but it would be a lactating MILF. I love mother. My sweaty under my yiddies. I literally, I stopped. I took a picture of myself and I sent it to my friends. I said, it looks like I am lactating. It looks like I am leaking right now. It's so funny. So that color got sent back. You didn't see that one. Yes, all my other ones I kept and I love. Yeah. But yeah, don't get the light blue if you're gonna be sweating. So funny. I was like, what the hell is that?

SPEAKER_00

What is happening?

SPEAKER_01

So so embarrassing.

SPEAKER_00

Oh my gosh. I do need to order that. I went to Chick-fil-A.

SPEAKER_01

Ew. What is it?

SPEAKER_00

Oyster sauce. Oyster flavored. You guys, we have an inside joke about oysters. Okay.

SPEAKER_01

I know we let you lose last week, but reel it back in.

SPEAKER_00

Oysters in my pocket. Save them for lunch. Okay.

SPEAKER_01

So I got a joke, but we'll leave it.

SPEAKER_00

Okay. I went to Chick-fil-A. I ordered mobile order on my phone before I went to Chick-fil-A. You know how you still have to like stop at the menu thing and like tell them, hey, I have a pickup order for Maui, whatever. Well, A, nobody was outside. B, blew past the speaker. Didn't even stop. Just rounded the corner. Didn't even tell anybody I was there. And then I like was sitting there and I'm like, oh my gosh. I didn't even tell them I'm here for a pickup order. They have no idea I'm here. Anyway, so I get to the window and they're like, they didn't know like that I had ordered anything. I'm like, sorry, I just have a pickup order for Mallory. And they were like, okay, one sec. We need you to pull up because like it wasn't ready.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, and you're in Centerville, so there's no, there's only one lane. Yes. Like in Ogden, there's two. Yeah. No, like I was trapped.

SPEAKER_00

I was trapped. I couldn't reverse. There was something like that. You trapped everyone in. Yes, exactly. So I rolled up and I'm like, sorry. I have a pickup order for Mallory. Then I had the biggest glitch in the matrix that I have ever had in my 28 years of life the other day when I was at dinner with Miranda, her fiance, and Dallin Engage. Her boyfriend, her fiance was telling a story and like was towards the end of the story. And I don't know how or why or what, but I had the biggest deja vu I've ever had of my life. And before he said like the last few words of his sentence, I knew what he was going to say. Like I could have said them at the same time, like the same time as him. I knew what he was gonna say, and I was like, I I've heard you say that before. Like it was the biggest deja vu. I could have finished his sentence word for word. It was so crazy and vivid. That's never happened to me before.

SPEAKER_01

No, I need somebody to get on here and explain deja vu to me because I've definitely had those experiences before and they are wild. We should actually look up.

SPEAKER_00

Should I just ask chat really fast?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, get us an explanation. Yeah, duh. We need someone to explain. Chat will do it for us.

SPEAKER_00

How and why does Deja vu happen? I actually asked Chat about that situation too after. So he's gonna be like, Well, I know you told me about this the other night. Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Does your chat have a personality? Because you talk to him a lot. Yeah. No, mine does too. The other day he was like, Kristen. See what just happened there with like a little tears in his eyes emoji.

SPEAKER_00

Stop. Oh my gosh.

SPEAKER_02

Oh. Okay.

SPEAKER_00

Here are a couple different there's not one single definitive explanation, but here are some theories. Number one is that your brain processes the moment twice, which is the most accepted theory. Your brain is constantly taking in enormous amounts of information. Occasionally a tiny delay or a misfire occurs. Imagine this: your brain processes what you're seeing. A fraction of a second later, the exact same information is processed again. No. That doesn't make sense. No. No. Okay. No.

SPEAKER_01

Because it's like your brain pre-processed it before it actually happened. Yeah, no, that doesn't make sense.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, number two, a familiarity without a memory. Your brain has two separate systems recognition, this feels familiar familiar, and recall. I know where this is from. Sometimes the familiarity, am I saying that right? Familiarity system activates by mistake. No, that is such a lie.

SPEAKER_01

No, it is like I live an experience, and then all of a sudden, months later, I'm actually living the experience.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, no, this none of this makes sense. Number three, it resembles a past experience. Sometimes the current situation shares subtle similarities with something you've experienced before. Nope. Never experienced that before.

SPEAKER_01

Chat, you're sucking at these dimensions.

SPEAKER_00

And the last one, number four, is memory encoding gets crossed. Normally, you experience something, your brain stores it as a memory, and then you later recall it. With deja vu, your brain may accidentally skip. Skip ahead and tag the current experience as if it's already stored. That's so okay. I feel like chat, you don't know what you're talking about.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, that did not help. I need someone woo-woo to explain it to us.

SPEAKER_00

Based on what you described previously.

SPEAKER_01

Wait, I wonder if we asked my chat if he would give us the same definition or a different one. Yeah, okay. Okay, it's loading. Please explain Deja vu. It's so wild. Okay. Deja vu is one of those experiences that feels almost supernatural, but it's actually surprisingly common. Around two-thirds of people experience it at some point. That's it. What the heck? Not everyone. Doesn't make sense. That's that seems it's most common between people about 15 and 30 years old. Whoa. Does that mean I've aged out of deja vu? When was the last time you had deja vu? It often happens when you're tired, stressed, or traveling. People experience it tend to have perfectly healthy brains. So there you go. Slay. It's considered normal. Anyway, yeah, it kind of gives the same thing. I've been here before, even. Yeah, this is crazy. Well, I don't like those definitions. I don't either because I need like a woo-woo person to tell me. No, and I told you I'm woo-woo and to give me those answers.

SPEAKER_00

I feel like they would say something about past life. Oh. Don't you?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, but all the ties I've had deja vu, it's been like the dumbest thing. Yeah. Yeah. Not like an actual experience, like premonition. You know what I mean? Yeah. Yeah. Anyway.

SPEAKER_00

Any we are just yapping away.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. We got some cues from y'all. And we've got some A's. We've got some A's. Some of you guys asked some real juicy cues, and we already answered those over on the Patreon.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. So here's a little plug. In an extra hour and 15-minute episode, might I add?

SPEAKER_01

Five bucks a month will get you extra tea. And all you have to do is download the Patreon app, sign up for our little thing, throw down five bucks a month, and you get access to that juicy episode, one every single month. Whenever you sign up, you'll have the back catalog as well. Yeah. Plus, we just post a lot more on there.

SPEAKER_00

We have so much on there.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. I'm more active there than anywhere else. So it's really fun. Okay, but for the rest of the questions, and there's a lot of them. So buckle in sisters. The first one is Kristen's worst recent date story. The problem is I haven't been up until I'm finally going on a couple good dates, but up until then, I haven't really had any bad dates because I haven't really been going on dates this year. Do I have any good stories that I haven't spilled yet? Like from the break? No, we went through them all on the Patreon and they were all like good. Yeah. Nothing crazy, but yeah. No. I mean, I went on a first date and he planned a second one. We were he was hyping it all up, planning it out, texting me about it, and then unfollowed me on Instagram randomly. Yeah. So we never actually went, but that's about as bad as it gets. Yeah. I definitely feel since taking dating more seriously, I just weed them out way faster than going on the actual dates and then weeding them out.

SPEAKER_00

You can kind of catch the vibe.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Or yeah. I just vet them a little bit more. When I was first single, I'm like, I just want to go on dates and like learn a lot. But now that I'm like, no, I'm now I know exactly what I'm looking for, I'm not even really wasting my time on those. Fun little dates that gave me the good stories, but that's not to say that my like weeding out is foolproof, so we'll see. Yeah. We'll see. So far, so good. But uh yeah, we'll go from there.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, question number two. Question number two advice you would give a 22-year-old girly right now.

SPEAKER_01

Do not get married.

SPEAKER_00

I knew you were gonna say that.

SPEAKER_01

You are in your timeout for three years. Yes, at least. I don't care how in love you are, I don't care what you gotta do, do not get married. Yeah. Please.

SPEAKER_00

It's so hard because you feel like you have it all figured out.

SPEAKER_01

You don't! I love you so much. Yeah, there's so much life to live. You don't know what you want. Yeah. Go find it. Find yourself. Go travel. Do all the things you ever wanted to do. You know what? You wanna know what I was doing around this time? I went to college. I went on a mission. I moved to China. I lit I went on a service, a little trip thing to Tijuana to build houses. Like I was doing all of the things at that age, and I still got married at 23. Go do all the fun things because once you're married, you don't got money for any of that stuff. No, you don't have time. You have to work full-time. You have to don't. Go have fun. Go travel.

SPEAKER_00

You could like find some hobbies that don't include using your phone. If you have any red flag friends, cut them off. Yeah. I was gonna say trust like trust your intuition. Trust your intuition. Trust like actions over words.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, like if you're I'm just like thinking back. If you're like trying to hang on to like high school friendships that were, I feel like that is like the prime time of like I'm putting in all the effort and they're not showing it back, just let it go. Yeah, you definitely do not have to have everything figured out. No, so go go make mistakes, go stay up late, go on lots of dates, go on lots of dates, date so many people. Yeah, date so many people. Yes. And travel, do whatever you want. Yeah, live at your parents' house and don't pay rent. Literally, no, move out, move out, don't save money. You don't have to right now. Learn how to invest. All of our advice is literally opposite of each other.

SPEAKER_00

Literally.

SPEAKER_01

No, now is the time to make mistakes. Go, have so much fun.

SPEAKER_00

Know how to pay a credit card.

SPEAKER_01

Maybe don't like cut up the credit card and do everything else. Make sure you're like actually paying for it. No. I'm jealous I'm gonna be 22 again. What's the update? Oh my gosh. How many times are we gonna get this question? Literally. What's the update with Kristen's love life? Any new boys in the picture? There is a new boy. It is very early stages, but it's we've got a positive horizon. Positive. That's all I'm going to say. Yeah. We can't jinx it. No. Not Conway. And if he's not the one, it's gonna be somebody better, and that's fine.

SPEAKER_00

So that's where I'm at right now. Yep. Okay, next one. Is Mal still wanting to move to NYC? What's the update with that? I'm sabotaging every time she tries to move. Did I spread my mouth too much about New York? No, actually, probably two months ago, two and a half months ago. Like this on the road.

SPEAKER_01

She's about to start packing boxes.

SPEAKER_00

Well, I legit thought we were gonna move, and it's because Dallin was in a fourth round of an interview with a company based in New York and we would have had to move there. Ultimately, he felt like it wasn't the right fit for him or like right fit for us in our life where we want, you know. That's not to say that maybe something could come along because it's still if this opportunity still presented itself and we still didn't have kids, like I think we could do still. I still would totally do it. Yeah, that's where I'm at.

SPEAKER_01

But at this point, you're not seeking the opportunity.

SPEAKER_00

Two months ago.

SPEAKER_01

Or last year, you were literally looking at like house swap situations. Yes, actually, I do still have house swap. She did love checking out the house swap. Well, and you do travel there a lot still.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. So she I think we're literally going in two three months.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. She lives there. Just quit trying to move away from me. Okay, next one. Stop! I've missed you. We missed you too. Kristen, how's mom life? How is Rome? Give us a mom update. Mom life is great. Having a six-year-old, almost seven-year-old is like it gets hard, but it's so easy. Like, I love having an independent kid. He makes life so easy. He's so freaking cute. He's so social. He makes friends everywhere he goes. He really is so social. And he's just oh, he's so freaking cute. You guys, he's so tan this summer. I don't put sunscreen on him. I don't believe in sunscreen. And also, he's like a beauty little brown boy. They don't believe in sunscreen.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I didn't know that.

SPEAKER_01

Bro.

SPEAKER_00

Just like chemicals. Not even mineral sunscreen.

SPEAKER_01

Just like, oh, we'll we'll get into this later.

SPEAKER_00

She's like, I don't want to open this can of worms on the pond.

SPEAKER_01

No, but like money to start to look up like the rise of uh skin cancer and when that happened at the same time as sunscreen came out. Oh, interesting. Just just dig into it. Anyway, so I don't put sunscreen on him. And so he is so tan. Does he get fried? No. Interesting. Well, he's half Brazilian.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, you're right.

SPEAKER_01

So he's so tan. But he did actually. My story is he did get fried the other day. And but not whatever. His skin started peeling, and so he has like backwards freckles. So he has like this brown skin with little white, like stop. Because this little fresh skin underneath is peeking through. And on his face, like he's so cute. He looks like freckles, but it all peeled off this week, and it's so freaking cute. But no, he's so tan. And then his little bum cheeks are bright white. I love him, I love him. But yeah, he's going into first grade. Mom life is great. First grade, that's crazy. I know. I know. We've just been having a fun, like slow mornings, fun summer. He's just the best.

SPEAKER_00

Oh my gosh. I love it.

SPEAKER_01

So, for all you people, single moms out there, there's light at the end of the tunnel. Yes. When you're not wiping butts anymore. I know. It gets easier. And then you're about to And then he's just like my little best friend.

SPEAKER_00

Like, I can bring him everywhere with me. Imagine the day you have to start completely over and be wiping butts again.

SPEAKER_01

I know. Everybody keeps all my friends are like, I want a two-year age gap. I want a three-year age gap. I'm like, I'm gonna have a 15-year age gap. And I'm gonna have to start all the way over. No, no, it'll be good.

SPEAKER_00

It will be so perfect, and you'll have a kid who's old enough to understand that can like help you. Oh, he's still baking for a baby sister every day. Yes, yes.

SPEAKER_01

No, mom life is great. Rome is so freaking cute. I love it.

SPEAKER_00

He's the most precious boy. Okay, next. Missed you so much. What made you guys decide? What made you guys decide to leave and then come back? Let's start with that.

SPEAKER_01

We got burnt out.

SPEAKER_00

Burned out. I unfortunately brought it up to Kristen first and was like, bro, I just need a break. It just was like, it wasn't feeling it was fun, but it was it was just feeling like another thing at that point in time.

SPEAKER_01

We were busy, busy girlies.

SPEAKER_00

So busy. And surgery, travel. Yes.

SPEAKER_01

All sorts of things were happening.

SPEAKER_00

I feel like the break was exactly what we needed.

SPEAKER_01

And it made us realize, like, oh wait, we actually like fun. Like, yeah, working for free, you might like a couple years in, but we're like, that was actually enjoyable because I missed doing it.

SPEAKER_00

Yes. No, we need we needed to break a break to realize like what we have. But we had literally. And I'm like so mad because I'm like, if we would have just kept well, I think we did both need a break, but if we would have just kept going, like, where would we be six months later? You know, it's burnt out, right? Burnt out and even morning.

SPEAKER_01

Even grouping each other. Should we just tell everyone we got in a fight?

SPEAKER_00

Like, that'll be easier than now.

SPEAKER_01

Admitting to the sippers that we just ditched. We dipped on out of there. Literally. And what made us decide to come back is we love it so much. And we figured out a way to make it sustainable. We got our business meeting, we made a plan for the year. Yes. We're back, baby.

SPEAKER_00

We have activities coming up that like will fuel our soul, make us excited. We're like looking forward to all cinema. Yeah, like it's just so fun.

SPEAKER_01

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, and then how is Married Life for Mal? Fantastic. I love Alan. He is the most precious man alive. So it has been so good. But also, we lived together for a year and a half before we got married. So it feels like we've been married for longer than we actually have, you know? No longer living in sin. No, your soul feel free. No, but I'm sure my mom feels that way. Anyway, and any new man for Kristen, she just touched on her new man's. That's all you're gonna get. Yeah. Because we can't. Jinx!

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. And he also said I'm an overshirt. So I have He did. Stop. I didn't tell you that. Yes, I did. I told you a sushi, and Zach was like, he's trying to change you. Oh red black. Yes. Like, no, he just doesn't want his business plastered. Aired out, yeah. And it's early. Okay.

unknown

Next.

SPEAKER_01

Where have y'all been? Missed the pod so much. I just want all the life deets. Okay, well, we just answered that, but we wish you so much too. Yes. We've been we've been here, there, everywhere. Everything we've been sipping last week, that's where we've been. Yeah. Just traveling, living life, getting it. Needle pointing, embroidering, beating. It's been fun. Yes. Okay, this one's for Mallory. Did it ever make you nervous to get married? No, we did the on Patreon. Whoa. Stop! Err err err. Okay, next. Sorry. I missed you guys. I finally have my podcast to walk to back. I literally quit walking when you stopped the pod. Mallory. Stop. Girl, you better put those shoes on. So now I can start back up. I need to know if Kristen is in a really Oh my hell. We should have betted these questions before we are answering. I'm like, if Kristen is in a Quisten. If Kristen is in a relationship, no. Or horror date stories, none. And how did you decide the new theme for the podcast? I love it. Woohoo! Oh, that's a cute one. Woo-hoo! Okay, so the new theme is we needed new pictures. We had blow-ups. I wasn't blonde anymore. My hair wasn't short enough gas bob. It was it was time. We needed a refresh. And we needed like to come back with a a rebrand.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, it's exciting, make it fun, you know. Not necessarily a new theme. We just kind of like really leaned into like we took tea party and we had to.

SPEAKER_01

I mean, obviously, our whole theme, our branding is tea, tea party. So we just had to do that in a different way.

SPEAKER_00

In a hot girl way.

SPEAKER_01

And we chose Marie Antoinette. Yeah, it was perfect. The meat cake. Yes, it was perfect. And my mom's a hoarder and literally had all the decorations that we needed. So we just like got some inspo for fits and it was so cute. But we literally did an entire photo shoot and we got what? What did we end up with? Five pictures of ourselves together.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I don't, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

We should screw the pooch on that one.

SPEAKER_00

We really just because by the time we did that, we already one of them I really liked.

SPEAKER_01

So if you guys see that picture a million times, sorry. It's the only one I look good in together.

SPEAKER_00

I was gonna say, we had already done all of our individuals before that. So I think by the time we did them together, we were just like so done.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, when we yeah, we were done.

SPEAKER_00

Also, we took them ourselves. Yeah, they turned out so good.

SPEAKER_01

Self-timer, yeah, but I'm so glad you love the theme. I'm like, are we silly? Like, we're in literal costumes that I'm like, no, our branding is breaking cute. It's so funny.

SPEAKER_00

Yep. Okay, next one. F. Mary Kill. Zach from Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, Tom Girardi, is that how you say it? Yep. Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, or Tom Sandoval Vanderpump.

SPEAKER_01

This is the ultimate. Okay. Okay. Okay.

SPEAKER_00

Wait, show me Tom Girardi. No.

SPEAKER_01

I will show you him. You don't want to marry Tom Girardi. Okay. Let me give you a backstory on Tom Girardi. Tom Girardi is now. Is he still in prison? He's old. He was married to Erica Jane. Oh, okay. This is him now. Oh shit, but is he rich? No, because he stole all his money from his clients. Oh. And so they started getting divorced, got to prison. Sh Erica Jane had two million dollar earrings, but like there's so many victims that never got their. I mean, she had so many things. Yeah. But like this was like part of the storyline was there's so many victims that never saw their restitution money because Tom Girardi stole it. And so all her friends are like, Erica, why don't you sell the two million dollar earrings and like help the victims? But then she's like, I didn't know any of this was happening. Like, I'm a victim.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Oh my gosh. Okay, well, we're killing Tom.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, he doesn't have anything left to his name.

SPEAKER_00

But I don't know much about Tom Sandoval either. And all I've seen of him, all I've seen of him is his freaking America's Got Talent audition. So no, his I feel like this isn't a great one for the show. You didn't watch them on Traders. I'm not there. I'm not that to that one yet.

SPEAKER_01

What have you watched? I thought you watched them all. No, I haven't watched them all. But you've seen the clip where he's like singing backwards.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, yes, yes, yes. I did see that. I don't think I finished that season, though. I don't know who won that season.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, anyway. You don't? No. Okay, you gotta watch. Okay. F Mary Kill. We're killing Tom Girardi. We're killing Tom Girardi. He left victims behind. I feel like Zach has had a redemption arc. Oh, I could not be married to Zack. I could not be married to Gary. Oh shit. I was gonna say Mary Zach F. Tom Sandoval. He's so annoying. I could not spend any more time with him than like a night.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I agree with that. And like you'd probably catch an STD. Oh, brother. I agree with that. I'd marry Zach from Secret Lives.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Okay, Mary Zach, F. Tom, kill Tom Girardi. Perfect. We need a good one. We need to come up with a good one for you. Yeah, we do. It would have been better if you knew who Tom Girardi was. I know. Okay, next one. Kristen, when are you getting a railing? Who would know that you didn't have railing? And would know that I still don't have one and enough to ask on this. I don't know. I'm getting a railing when I get a husband that will pay for it. Because I uh we started, I get I got divorced in the middle of a remodel. So if you guys don't know this, I have stairs that go from my upstairs to my downstairs, and there's no railing. We could fall off at any point. And I almost did the other day. Shut up. And we also opened up a wall, and so I need a railing from my kitchen down to my living room. Yeah, I'm not re willing to spend a couple grand on that at this point. So when I get a rich husband that will pay for it, or I move, then I will get one. Yes. Because at this point I've waited so long, I'm not just gonna put in some build-grade railing. I wanted a custom railing.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, like a whatever they're called.

SPEAKER_01

A very specific, really cool, different one. Like you can't you can't just go get it.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So I would rather go shopping, go on vacations with that money. So that's what we're doing right now. Yes.

SPEAKER_00

So who knows? Next, I feel like we could probably skip because we've kind of touched on all of these. We need an update on Mallory's wedding, Married Life, and Kristen's dating. We've been dry. So excited to see you girls are back for real.

SPEAKER_01

I just feel bad that you guys are dry and I came back with. I hope you're re what's that TikTok sound? I hope you're ready. Ready? Yeah. I hope you're ready for nothing. That's my dating life. That's so funny. Sorry. Okay, dying to know how Mal's surgeryslash recovery went. Give all the deeds. I told I told Mal she should do a whole episode about this.

SPEAKER_00

I know. And I told Kristen I could do it by myself, so she was not entered that episode. So really, yeah, I should probably do just a whole episode on endometriosis, endometriosis awareness. Endomiosis. Aden adeno adenomyosis. I don't even know how to say it. Long, long story short, had surgery in January. They diagnosed me as stage three endo, got it all out, was symptom-free for four months, and now it's all back. My assist my symptoms are all back. And I want to die. I literally went to the doctor's two weeks ago and told him I want hysterectomy. And he said, We're not doing that. I said, damn. So yeah, that's where I'm at. And I think my cure is just to get pregnant. So son first. Praying for next one. I fear we all need Kristen's dating play-by-plays. Please say there is hope out there in the dating field. I think there's hope. There is hope. There is hope. Uh yeah. Nope.

SPEAKER_01

We're we're hopeful. Things are going good. Yep. Where does Mal find all of her yummy recipes and how does she find Inspo? I'm in a dinner rut and don't know what to make.

SPEAKER_00

Basically, just Pinterest in TikTok. That's it.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. I s anytime I see a yummy recipe on TikTok, I just like save it for later.

SPEAKER_00

Yes, I save in a recipes collection. Uh-huh. Save. Sometimes chat will curate me like a weekly meal plan, but it's like Do you like trust his recipes though? I have made some of the recipes and they are fine. But it's more so like healthy stuff, like chicken breast and green beans, and you know.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, yeah, boring.

SPEAKER_00

So that's why I like to turn to TikTok and Pinterest.

SPEAKER_01

People are so creative. Wait, I have a new you guys, this is who you need to follow. Her name is normal normal food? Normal recipes? Hold on, hold on. I'm okay. Wait, I'm literally pulling this up so I can she has the normal food, I think.

SPEAKER_00

Normal food?

SPEAKER_01

It's normal food. ITS normal food. She's so cute. She has the softest little voice, and she just makes dinner for her and her fiance. Okay. And she shows you how she's making it. And it is just it she makes it look so easy. And it's just like fresh, yummy recipes. And listen to her voice. Put it on. Follow. I didn't get you an update today. Guys, we know we're gonna have this. We have to do a kit, you gotta do a cooking one like this.

SPEAKER_00

My best friend and her husband just came home with their second baby, so I'm gonna go drop off.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, she's cute. So she's been every time she pops up, I literally watch. I'm not, I'll be like in bed at midnight and I'll watch the entire her cooking her dinner. Oh my gosh, I love it. Get some inspo from her.

SPEAKER_00

I need some advice from the girlies that are in the service industry. How does one go about breaking up with their hair girl? The plot twist is that she is my bestie. Oh frick. And I know it will offend her and make her sad. So sad. I keep going to her because the friendship is more important, but also paying money for your hair you don't love is getting real old. Help me. Yeah, you're spending your hard-earned money on hair that you hate every time. But that's so sticky because it's your bestie.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I figure I can never break up with Sam. Yeah. Luckily, I my hair is like well worth it. You could. You could, you could, you could. One time, it depends on what you do. One time I did have to break up with a friend and I told her I was trading with somebody else. Hmm. Or you could also do something to your hair that she doesn't do. Oh, you don't do bobs. Okay, I'm going to this hairstylist over here. Oh, you don't do dreadlocks? I guess I'm getting dreadlocks. I'm just kidding, dreadlocks.

SPEAKER_00

I'm so dead.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I feared there's like no easy way to be like Do not ruin your friendship over your hair. Yes. However, as a service provider, we lose and gain clients all the time. I've been doing it for 11 years, and I still lose and gain clients all the time. People come back to me, whatever. And it's like no harm, no foul. My feelings are never hurt.

SPEAKER_00

No.

SPEAKER_01

I remember when my friend got her brows done by somebody, she got microblading done by somebody else. She was like, she's like, it's one of my cousins, she's giving me a discount, whatever. Like, I feel so bad. I'm like, dude, this is you're paying a lot of money. Whether you're getting a discount or not, you're paying a lot of money. You want to pick something that you love. Everybody's style is different. The way everybody does things is different. So, like, really, I mean, it depends on how your friend is, but I was like, I do not care. If you choose to go to somebody else for your lashes, your brows, whatever, I know that I'm the best. Yeah. But you're making a mistake. But also, like, price points are different, styles are different. Like, it's fine. Yeah. So yeah, I would either. Well, also, you said hair you're not loving. Are you having her fix it? Probably not. Because anytime I've not loved my hair, I literally call her that night and I'm like, dude, this is too blonde, too dark, whatever. Do we need another toner? Is it like a mistake on her end? Is it you not saying what you're like, is the communication like Yeah. Don't be paying for hair you don't love. If you're ever doing a service and you don't love the result, talk to your service provider because they will fix it. So is that like what needs to be happened? Do you need to just like tell her what you're wanting with your hair? It's not like coming across the right way.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

But if you need to break up with her, my only go-to that I've ever had to use was say that I'm trading.

SPEAKER_00

That's not a bad.

SPEAKER_01

That's not a bad. Because you can't, you can't top that. No. Or say you're doing a collab or you're being a model. Yeah. And just like, oh, it's a one-time thing. I'm being a model, and then don't go back.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Why is this sound so sad? Why did you ghost the sippers without a goodbye? Sincerely, my broken podcast heart that couldn't even listen to old episodes because they were deleted.

SPEAKER_00

They were on Spotify up until two weeks ago.

SPEAKER_01

Somehow, somehow. First of all, somehow, somehow, they all got deleted. That was not intentional. No, no. We tried to get those back. So yeah, we don't know. I'm so sorry.

SPEAKER_00

And also, every single time Kristen and I were together, we're like, oh, we need to record a video and just be like, we love you guys. Maybe we'll be back. Maybe we'll be back. Maybe we won't. We just are burnt out. We need a break. But then we just like never did. We were just thinking about ourselves. We were thinking about you guys. You have to do what did Haley say today? You have to think about you or something like that. What was it?

SPEAKER_01

Gotta put you first.

SPEAKER_00

You first. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Honestly, when we dipped, we just dipped. We did not open the Instagram. We didn't. That's how burned out we were. Yeah, we're just like, bye. Actually, we didn't say bye. We just said Irish goodbye, if you will. Everyone's like, what the fuck? We Irish goodbye and went on our merry little way, but we're back. We're back.

SPEAKER_00

Come on. Okay, next. I'm turning into a Disney adult. So I got to ask for Mal's planning itinerary. How hard does she go? Not very hard. Is it mostly food and rides? Do you go meet characters? Oh. You think I am that Disney adult?

SPEAKER_01

Please.

SPEAKER_00

Please, I want to see you meeting a character. I'm like goofy. I've waited my whole wait. Actually, have you seen that one of a girl meeting? I think it was Pooh Bear. And she was like, Pooh, I've waited my whole life to I've waited 30 years to meet you.

unknown

Oh no.

SPEAKER_00

Shit. Okay. No, I do not go meet the characters. Have you been to the Disney? Oh my gosh. Have you been to Disney and foreign parks? Outfitslash ear preparations. What are all your suggestions? Must-dos. I fear we would be here for a very long time if I really got into this whole thing. We don't we don't go very hard anymore because I physically cannot. I physically cannot be old at the ripe age of 28. It makes me so sick. We wrote we rode Guardians of the Galaxy, and me and Dom both were like, huh, where's the nearest trash can? We're gonna freaking ball. No way. That sucks. It's so awful. So we really don't go very hard. Like we ride a couple of rides, go get a snack, treat, ride a couple of rides, sit on a bench, eat a treat.

SPEAKER_01

Like, I will say outfit as somebody who's not a Disney adult, outfit and ear preparations are very fun. Yes. Find yourself a cute pair of ears and cute outfits for every day. Okay, this is what I do for that.

SPEAKER_00

I get on Pinterest and I type in Disney outfit aesthetics or whatever. Aesthetic. Or on TikTok, lots of girls are posting Inspir all the time, and it's so fun to look for like InSpo there as well.

SPEAKER_01

Speaking of which, I have no idea where any of my ears are. Not that I'm going to Disney again, but speaking of, they're probably in a box somewhere. But as a type A person that doesn't go to Disney often, when we went to Disney World, I pulled up my little magic. What's the app? Well, you went to Magic Kingdom, right? Well, I went off, I went to all the parks. But there's no what's the Disney?

SPEAKER_00

Disney World.

SPEAKER_01

It's not called the Disney World app. It's called Magic Kingdom. I have Disneyland downloaded. The Disney app. You go on there, and I went through and planned our day park by park. Went looked at every menu of every restaurant. No freaking thing. I was watching Disney food blog. Oh, yeah. They give tips and what rides are gonna be closed when you're there, what rides are gonna be, and like all the best food you have to try. And I literally went through every menu and wrote, like, took notes of what we wanted to try at each place. Yes. So then when we were buying something and we're like, we need a snack, I would like look at my list and like, oh, this looked so good. Yeah. Then we never ordered incorrectly because we Yeah, that's so good. This is so nice. The food is so much money, you've got to buy the good stuff.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, definitely look at Disney Food blog for sure. Yeah, and Disneyland, there's another one. Hang on, I'll pull it up. Disneyland.

SPEAKER_01

I haven't been to the foreign parks. Have you? I've only done Disney World, Disneyland.

SPEAKER_00

Food at Disneyland is also a really good one to follow. And then, which also have a really long list of food. If you want me to send it to you, you can DM me. Here's my other couple.

SPEAKER_01

If you're only going like for well, Disney, I feel like Disneyland is more is more attainable, but if you're going to Disney World, like get the genie plus or whatever is now. Lightning lanes, like yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Lightning Lane always. We're we're broke, but not that broke, okay? We're not broke, we're not 150 minutes broke.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, no, no, no, no, no.

SPEAKER_00

Okay. I was gonna say though, I always look on Google at like Disney crowd calendars because they're pretty accurate. It'll tell you like what days are the best days to go, if it's average, if it's like you're shiz out of luck, don't go this day. And then also there's a website called Undercover Tourist, and you can get tickets for slightly discounted. So I always buy from undercover tourists, I don't buy from Disney directly, and that will include like lightning light and everything.

SPEAKER_01

Oh god.

SPEAKER_00

UndercoverTourist.com.

SPEAKER_01

Wow. You came to the right place. You did. Okay, next one. So I was dating this one guy one time. This is a confession. Oh, lucky sippers, you get a confession. Yeah. Well, it says help at the end, so maybe that is a question. Okay. Okay, so I was dating this one guy one time. This was two years ago. Then we kind of went our separate ways. I was so nice to him and would do anything for him. One time I brought him something like a little gift basket, and his whole family got excited. When he came back from work, I was sitting there on the couch, excited to give it to him. And his mom said, How does it feel to be loved? He said, Meh. And then his mom said, Do you like the gift she brought you? And he said, It's whatever. And he went to his room and it made me really sad because I wanted to show him he is lovable, but he just can't seem to let love in again. He is an amazing Okay. I'm kind of appalled right now, actually. No, he's a loser. Sorry. I threw my phone. I wanted to show him he's lovable. You are very sweet. You are this guy sounds apathetic. Trash. He is an amaz he is an amazing person, but he did say he was too busy whenever I wanted to hang out with him. Also, he wrote me a long paragraph message basically telling me he isn't worth loving and I can find better, but I truly do love him. I don't oh, I did not know this. This is where this was going. I don't know what to do. Should I stay or not? And move on from this. Help, please. Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't know you were still with him. Please move on. Please move on.

SPEAKER_00

No. It's so hard when you feel like you love somebody, but like you deserve the same effort that you're putting in.

SPEAKER_01

Somebody to say meh and it's whatever, and like not even appreciate that you did something nice for them. And bought him still. Bye bye. Yeah, that's pretty bad. Even if this was a friend, a boyfriend, a husband, whatever, bye. Yeah. No, do not stay with him.

SPEAKER_00

Next one. And this one is hilarious. Here is a completely random question. Have any of you got the explosive diarrhea disease that is going around? And is it as bad as people say it is? If so, fess up.

SPEAKER_01

Neither of us would know if we had.

SPEAKER_00

I was gonna say, I wouldn't know.

SPEAKER_01

I would just think my IBS came back.

SPEAKER_00

I'd say, oh, so muscle testing didn't work. Yeah, literally. So to answer your question, no.

SPEAKER_01

When is your next Suppers cinema?

SPEAKER_00

I love that you would even ask.

SPEAKER_01

We're so excited. I'm so excited to like actually watch the movie.

SPEAKER_00

I feel like we've had a few really good movies for Super Cinema.

SPEAKER_01

But this one's gonna be like good.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. So it's October 1st. It's a Thursday. Farmington Cinema, probably, right?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, we usually do seven.

SPEAKER_00

Farmington Cinemark Verity by Colleen Hoover.

SPEAKER_01

So freaking good. If you haven't read the book, highly recommend to read. You've got two months to do so.

SPEAKER_00

The cast is incredible.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. Okay, this is for Mal. We need the real tea. Kristen blink twice if Mal's six months creative cur. Is this ChatGBT? I can't read. I don't even know what this is asking. So like air bunny things are still there too. Six month creative sabbatical was actually just her being deeply hyperfixated on a weird new hobby. Word on the street is she spent three weeks straight trying to become a sourdough influencer or secretly learning how to unicycle. What the hell? Now, what is the absolute weirdest thing you hyperfixated on while the mic was off, and how much money did you waste on it? Well, she just dropped $300 on Mahjong.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, yes. Probably needlepointing.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Needle pointing for sure. How much I spent? Honestly, not much. Well, the canvas alone is like $25. I would say probably $50 total. You think that's it? Yeah, I'm not that deep into it. It's maybe $60. I don't know. Okay. I don't have that much floss, though. I don't have that much embro embroidery floss. Oh yeah. You gotta build your collection. Yes. Okay, next. Next, this is for both of you. Probably another chat question. And I need absolute raw honesty. After six months of not having to sit across from each other and act professional, how completely shot are your social skills? Matt, did you accidentally sign off a casual text to your mom with thanks for listening? Don't forget to rate and review. That's actually Kristen's line. Kristen, have you forgotten how to make eye contact without a microphone in your face? Please reassure us that you both still know how to behave like a normal member of society.

SPEAKER_01

We weren't living under rock for the last six months. We were out in the streets. So we are just We were running these streets. Queen Diva, love your zesty bestie.

SPEAKER_00

We love our zesty bestie. Is that who those questions came from?

unknown

I don't know. Woo!

SPEAKER_01

That was a lot of questions and a lot of repeats of what's going on in my dating life. So unfortunately. I won't have any more bad dating stories for a minute. At least. Or hopefully never again. Yeah. Yeah. That's that's the goal. That's the goal. We'll see.

SPEAKER_00

Anyway. I'm so happy we got to talk about our upcoming event events.

SPEAKER_01

Yes. I was gonna say, did we hit all of our markers? Yes, I'm so excited. We just love doing this podcast, and the best part is you guys. So we're having so much fun just being back, shooting the shit, spilling the tea, confessing our sins, and we want to hang out with you like actually in real life. And it makes us so happy every time you comment on things, DM us, like we're like, oh yeah, people are actually listening. Yeah. Oh, people do actually care. Somebody actually DM'd me yesterday and was like, I love Lorenzo on Love Island. Thank you for introducing me to this. Still, you're welcome. Oh my god. We need to catch up. How far are you? Episode 41. Oh, I'm so far behind. I think I'm on like 25. What? I literally just watched the heart rate challenge. And I think we need to turn it into a trend of catch. Attempting to do what Tommy did to Ellie. I know. Isn't that freaking divoling? Yes. Let's record it for the Patreon. Okay. I'm dead. Okay, anyway, we love you guys so much. So thanks for being here. We're happy to be back. Love you guys. If we ever go away again, feel free to bully us to come back. We're never going anywhere. So support the pod. Come to our events. Like, rate, review, share, comment, subscribe, all the things. And we love you so much. So until next week, peakies up, sippers.
